Accessibility at Love Tales
We want Love Tales to be usable by everyone — including people who navigate the web with screen readers, keyboards, voice control, or high-contrast modes. This page documents what we're committed to, what works today, and what we know still needs work.
Our commitment
Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are not formally certified, and we don't pretend otherwise — we treat accessibility as an ongoing practice, not a one-time audit.
Accessibility is checked on the pages we ship most often (the homepage, product pages, shop, and the book-creation flow), then re-checked when those pages change.
What works today
Keyboard navigation
All primary navigation, links, and form controls are reachable using a keyboard. Visible focus indicators are present on interactive elements.
Screen readers
Pages use semantic landmarks, headings, and alternative text on imagery. Forms have labelled fields and inline error messages.
Color and contrast
Body text on our marketing pages targets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against background. We don't rely on color alone to convey state (errors, success, etc.).
Responsive and zoomable
Pages reflow at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling on common viewport sizes, and the site is fully responsive from 320 px upward.
Known limitations
We'd rather tell you what doesn't work yet than pretend the site is perfect:
- AI-generated character illustrations inside the book preview do not yet carry descriptive alt text — the alt text is currently a generic placeholder. We are working on a per-image description generator.
- Some marketing pages and slices authored in our CMS may use heading levels that skip (for example, H2 → H4). We are sweeping these as we encounter them.
- Embedded third-party widgets (Trustpilot reviews, payment provider iframes, locale switcher dropdowns from older library versions) may not match our own accessibility standards. We pick vendors who publish their own VPAT where possible.
Report an issue
If something on Love Tales doesn't work with your assistive technology, please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs.

support@lovetales.ai — include the URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology / browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge within two business days.
