1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using https://lovetales.ai (the “Service” or “Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms of service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service.

LoveTales.ai reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service following changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Service overview

LoveTales.ai is a personalized, AI-powered platform that transforms your real relationship and uploaded photos into a romantic, illustrated storybook. The output is provided in digital (PDF) format, with the option to order a printed hardcover edition as an add-on.

Key features may include:

• A 6-chapter custom romantic story generated by AI
• Personalized illustrations based on your photos
• A downloadable PDF version of the final storybook
• Optional printed hardcover storybook (available for additional purchase)

3. User eligibility

To use LoveTales.ai, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian
• Provide truthful, lawful, and accurate information
• Refrain from using the service for any unlawful, harmful, or exploitative purposes

4. Accounts & user inputs

Some features may require account creation or personal inputs such as names, your story summary, and photo uploads. By using these features, you agree to:

• Only upload content (e.g. photos) that you own or have legal rights to use
• Avoid submitting any offensive, obscene, misleading, or copyrighted material
• Be fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you provide

5. Payments & refunds

Pricing & orders

LoveTales.ai allows users to preview a portion of their personalized book for free. To unlock the full digital storybook and illustrations, a one-time payment is required. You may also choose to order a printed hardcover version of the book for an additional fee.

All transactions are processed in USD (unless otherwise stated) via secure third-party providers such as Stripe.

Refund policy

Due to the personalized, custom-generated nature of our storybooks, all sales are final once a physical print order has been submitted.

For digital-only purchases, we offer partial refunds (60%) only in limited cases where:

• You have not ordered or received a printed version of the book
• The book was created using credits purchased from LoveTales.ai
• At least 50% of the AI-generated illustrations contain significant visual defects, such as distorted faces, incorrect characters, blank or missing illustrations, or technical errors

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Differences in style or tone preferences
• Minor imperfections in AI output
• Change of mind

6. Ownership & usage rights

What you own:

• You retain all rights to your personal story, inputs, and uploaded photos
• You may share or print your generated storybook for personal, non-commercial use only

What we own:

• The LoveTales.ai platform, AI system, templates, illustrations, and designs remain the exclusive property of LoveTales.ai or its licensors
• You may not resell, alter, or distribute the service or its outputs for commercial gain without written permission

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

LoveTales.ai uses generative AI to produce personalized stories and illustrations. While we aim for emotionally resonant and visually delightful results, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, perfect, or error-free
• Output quality is based on your inputs and may vary
• We are not liable for emotional distress or reputational impact caused by generated content

If you believe any output is inappropriate or faulty, please contact support@lovetales.ai.

8. Privacy & data use

Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is handled.

Highlights:

• We store your inputs only as needed to generate your storybook
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties
• You may request deletion of your story, images, and data at any time

9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the service to create or share illegal, harmful, hateful, or offensive content
• Impersonate others or upload content you don’t have rights to
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the platform’s functionality

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, for any reason, including violations of these terms.

Upon termination:

• Your access to LoveTales.ai features may be revoked
• Outstanding payments (if any) remain due
• You may request deletion of your data and generated outputs

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoveTales.ai and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or emotional harm
• Imperfections or failures in AI-generated content

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the service.

12. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Quebec.
