DMCA copyright & takedown policy

Love Tales respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our site infringes a copyright you own or control, this page explains how to submit a formal notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), and how to file a counter-notice if you believe content of yours was removed in error.

Filing a copyright complaint

Send written notice to our designated agent (address below). To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or someone authorised to act on their behalf).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (a URL or a representative list is fine if multiple works are involved).
  3. Identification of the material you are asking us to remove or disable, with enough detail for us to locate it — ideally a direct URL on lovetales.ai.
  4. Your contact information: full name, address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement, in good faith, that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may not result in a takedown. Material misrepresentations — knowingly false claims that material is infringing — may subject you to liability under §512(f).

Filing a counter-notice

If content you posted was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. To be effective, it must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Love Tales may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice.

How we respond

Acknowledgement

We acknowledge complete DMCA notices within two business days, by the same person who will handle the request.

Action

Where a notice is complete and facially valid, we expeditiously remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the uploader.

Counter-notices

We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If no court action is filed within ten to fourteen business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

Account holders with repeated, valid infringement complaints against them may have their access terminated under our repeat-infringer policy.
