Creating Your Book

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

1. 2-3 clear photos of you and your partner
2. About 15-20 minutes of uninterrupted time
3. Ideas or memories to share, depending on your book type: Love Story Book: relationship journey, milestones, favorite memories; Mother’s or Father’s Day Book: special moments, lessons, or gratitude; “Why I Love You” Book: reasons you love them and meaningful experiences

Step-by-Step Creation Walkthrough

Step 1: Choose Your Book Type

Select between:

• Personalized Love Story Book – A fully illustrated narrative telling your unique love story
• Mother’s Day Book – A heartfelt tribute filled with memories and appreciation for Mom
• Father’s Day Book – A meaningful gift celebrating Dad with stories and lessons
• “Why I Love You” Book – A beautifully illustrated collection of reasons you love someone

Step 2: Upload Your Photos

Photo requirements:

• Format: JPG or PNG
• Size: Maximum 10MB per photo
• Quantity: 2-3 photos recommended
• Quality: Clear, well-lit, faces visible

Best practices for photos:

• Use photos where both faces are clearly visible
• Avoid heavy filters or black-and-white photos
• Choose photos with good lighting (natural light works best)
• Recent photos produce more accurate illustrations
• Include photos that show your natural expressions

Tip: The AI uses these photos to create illustrations that resemble you, so clarity is key!

Step 3: Answer the Relationship Questions

You'll be asked 10 thoughtful questions. Take your time with these—your answers shape the entire story!

Example questions include:

1. How did you first meet?
2. What was your first impression of each other?
3. Describe your first date
4. What's your favorite memory together?
5. What do you love most about your partner?
6. Do you have any inside jokes or nicknames?
7. What adventures have you shared?
8. What dreams do you have for the future?
9. What makes your relationship special?
10. What would you want to tell your partner?

Tips for answering effectively:

• Be specific and descriptive (instead of "We met at a party," try "We met at Jake's birthday party when you spilled your drink on my shoes")
• Include sensory details (sights, sounds, feelings)
• Mention locations, dates, and names when relevant
• Share emotions, not just facts
• Don't worry about perfect grammar—write naturally!

Step 4: Choose Your Art Style

Select from four beautiful illustration styles:

Tip: Consider the overall tone of your story. Watercolor suits romantic, sentimental stories, while 2D Cartoon is great for playful, fun narratives.

Step 5: Add Your Dedication

Write a personal dedication message that appears at the beginning of the book. This is your chance to add a personal touch!

Example dedications:

• "To my forever adventure partner. Every chapter with you is my favorite. Love always, [Your name]"
• "For [Partner's name], the one who makes every day feel like a love story. Happy Anniversary!"
• "To the love of my life—this is our story, and I can't wait to write the next chapter together."

Step 6: Preview Before Checkout

Before completing your order, you can preview your book cover and avatars.

This is the only part visible at this stage. The full book, all illustrations, and avatars will be fully recreated in high quality after checkout, so no edits can be made at this step.

Step 7: Select Your Format

Choose your preferred format: hardcover, softcover, or digital. All hardcover and softcover purchases include a complimentary digital copy.

Step 8: Edit After Checkout

Once your order is placed:

• Adjust your avatar and photos (these will be used for all illustrations and cannot be changed later)
• Update your answers to the 10 questions or input details for your chosen book type
• Launch your story—it will be generated in about 15-20 minutes
• Edit and customize the chapter titles
• Edit illustrations using the star icon
• Edit text freely with unlimited revisions Make sure your avatar and story details are final before launching—these are used to create the full book.

Step 9: Finalize and Wait

Once you’re happy with your story:

• Validate your book to approve it for printing. Once validated, it will automatically be sent to the printer. If you notice a mistake, email support@lovetales.ai immediately.
• Sit back and relax while your book is printed and shipped
• Track your order in your dashboard under “Track Shipping”
• Shipping updates will also be sent to your email

Note: Printing only begins after your final approval. Refunds are not available once printing starts.

Saving Your Progress

• Your answers at the book creation step are not saved automatically. Please make sure to click “Save Progress” to preserve your responses.
• You can close your browser and return later
• Access your in-progress book from your account dashboard
• We recommend completing in one session for the best experience

Common Questions

What if I don't like the generated story? You have unlimited text edits and 20 free regeneration credits to refine the story to your liking.

Can I see the book before paying? Because AI is very costly, you only get to see a first draft of your book before making any payment.

How long does the creation process take? Most customers complete the questionnaire in 10-15 minutes. Book generation takes about 10-15 minutes.
